Costco brings back food samples the first week of June

I am very disappointed that since joining Costco I still haven’t had the infamous free samples everyone is talking about. I can’t wait for Costco to bring back these free samples.

Well, we have some good news.

According to USA todayCostco’s free samples are making a comeback now that life is back to normal after this global pandemic. It has also been said that Costco is looking to make a food court seating area available to shoppers.

We learned from USA today that Costco has reported that of the 550 stores, nearly 200 Costco stores will bring in free samples and food court seats as of the first week of June. When you think about it, it’s next week. We are therefore super close!

It’s exciting because the only thing I’ve been able to try at Costco and where I normally go is the lotion. Really, who wants to try the lotion? We’re here for food samples, not lotion samples. Costco executive vice president said USA today that “the retailer will introduce full sampling in stages”.

Regarding the food court, this was mentioned on USA today that the tables will have a maximum of 4 people per table. When the food court opens its doors, it will have “only about half of the capacity as before the pandemic”.

No mask warrant and free food samples coming back is amazing news.
